Themed Park Resort - Macau
In collaboration with CHIL Interior Design
The Themed Park Resort, recalls the Portuguese colonial period and the golden times of Macau during the 60’s, taking some influences from the neighbor Hong Kong as well. The whole hotel is a blend of European and Asian styles, colorful patterns and graphics with a bold decorative design.
The project is divided into a tower where all the guestrooms are located and a podium assigned for public facilities. The area of interior design intervention includes a lobby bar, an all day dining restaurant, two specialty restaurants in the specific of a noodle bar and a sea food restaurant, a MICE area, an indoor swimming pool and changing rooms.
A new wave of hospitality design is reviving the vibrant soul of 1960s Macau and Hong Kong, where tea houses and restaurants were cultural hubs. These spaces embrace bold colors, intricate patterns, and vintage charm, with walls adorned in retro posters and shelves lined with porcelain teapots and brass lanterns. More than just aesthetics, the design captures the warmth and communal spirit of the era, offering guests a nostalgic escape into a world where every detail tells a story.
